I have generally been frustrated with not finding a medium for consuming news that is right for me. When I can, I try and read about a subject from multiple sources and create a zine as a way for me to have a creative end-goal and present a piece of news to my friends when they scroll through my social media page.

The 90's kids are all grown up. What happened to iconic food products that will forever be part of our shared memory? Parle-G is a biscuit (cookie) that all Indian kids grew up eating. The idea was to compare what the word 'biscuit' meant in innocence and how it has possibly changed.

A Saree is a traditional attire worn in India. My mother has the most stunning collection of Sarees. These images made up a big part of my visual memory growing up. I drew this the day I showed up to Zoom calls wearing a Saree on a regular Wednesday.
